Red Smokey Eye | Gryffindor Inspired | Nerdy Makeup

Hey! This is the look I wore today, been doing quite natural makeup day to day lately so felt inspired to do something a little more powerful.

First of all the easy parts, everything but the eyemakeup are the products I use everyday.

Skincare/Prep:
Moisturizer: Origins Ginzing energy boosting -This is my favourite skincare brand, ever! I am slowly working my way through the range to find the best one suited to my skin, but I am happy with everything I've tried so far! If you are wondering why I change, but I always finish it up first.
Primer: Smashbox photofinish original.
Bare Minerals night treatment Light. - If I have breakouts I always put a layer of this on first to help heal my skin and it acts as a barrier from the rest of my makeup to prevent any spots. It's great cause it adds a bit of coverage too.

Face:
Bare Minerals Ready Foundation R250
Dior Honey Bronze
Lancome Blush trio palette (apricot peach one?)
Benefits Watts Up Highlighter (I HATE Benefit as a brand/company (not the general staff lol hi friends, basically how they treat you!) and everything it stands for but I can't deny this is their one hidden gem, product.)

Lips:
NYX Mauve Lipliner (Lost Mac Spice *cries*)
Mac Creme Cup Lipstick
Mac Lipglass Florabundance

Brows
Mua Heaven and Earth Palette - Light matte brown and dark matte brown

And Finally to the EYES!
Base: Urban decay primer potion
MUA Heaven and Earth Palette - Matte brown in the crease, gold in inner corner
THE MAIN PRODUCT OF THE LOOK - Illamasqua pure pigment in Berber
Sleek Del Mar Palette- white to highlight, orange blended into the brown in the crease as a transition colour and a little over gold in inner corner.
MUA white eyeliner blended with MUA matte brown and sleek orange on bottom lash line.
Black ELF gel liner
Dior show maximizerwhite mascara to thicken and build lashes with Lancome Hypnose Mascara on top.

And that's the look!
I am super happy with it, I went through a stage of wearing really warm eyeshadow looks everyday and I have been out of it for months until now! I have fell back in love!
Let me know if you would rock something like this? To me I feel like this is normal but I know my brain doesn't work like everyone else's!

Bit of a long one but enjoy! xoxox p.s almost at 60,000 views ewk!

Mermaid Hair | Blue And Grey

I was recently staying at my friend Poppy's house who's mum is a hairdresser. Her mum suggested using a grey toner on my hair and of course I never say no to trying new things. I don't really understand people who worry about these things, it is only hair?

This was straight after when it was very blue! I loved it. It's about a week later now and its washed to a grey blonde now. I definitely am thinking about doing this a little bit more permanent for the summer.. what do you guys think?

Just a little inspiration for those who get bored easily like me!

Makeup posts coming, I have been super busy with uni but now I'm free!

Ombre Lips + Subtle Glitter Smokey eye | FOTN

I really love how much difference makeup can be between black and white and colour. I have started photography classes and it has recently come to my attention. The whole atmosphere/theme/of a photograph changes between both of them.

Anyways this is quite a dramatic look, full on black smokey eye, glitter, and a bright pink ombre lip! Definitely one I'd wear on a night out but not that there are any makeup rules, take whatever inspires you from this! I've always been really inspired by the signature Mary-Kate and Ashley olsen smokey eye (they take the black right round the eyes and quite far underneath) and this is the eyeshadow shape I went for. Ombre lips are really easy to do, all you need is a lighter and a darker shade. This doesn't just have to be pinks, could be reds, oranges or even black and grey for halloween or a goth look! Trick is outline with dark, fill in with light and rub lips together lightly to blend, or if it smudges too much use a small lip brush to be more precise! They really make your lip shape stand out and it just makes everything overall a bit more modern and interesting. If you are looking to wear this for a longer time get a lip coat (clear liquid that you brush overtop to seal it in place and make more waterproof) to make it longer lasting!

Let me know if you liked this look and if anyone tried it out! Lots of halloween looks coming soon! xoxox

Radio 1's Big Weekend in Londonderry!

All outfit bits in haul a couple of post below!

Absolutely amazing two days at big weekend! Highlights were J cole and Iggy Azalea! Also meeting Kodaline, Conor Maynard and being waved at by Greg James (it's the little things haha)
So thankful it came to Northern Ireland, things like that rarely happen!

Dying with the flu now though, guess my body isn't much of a raver ha!

Casual & Quick | Party OOTD

A few snaps from going out a couple of weeks ago, didn't dress up too much and was having one of those 'I have nothing to wear, yet have a full wardrobe' nights.

So this is what I settled on:

Crop top- Primark (around £10 I think)
Leather look high waist shorts- River Island (£30)
Plain Black tights, can get anywhere!
I know you can't see but I also wore wedge trainers with this to carry on the casual style!
Studded hoop earrings- Primark (Probably £2.50)

My current job is pretty boring and it calls for absolute no thoughts over how I look, as most of the day I am on my own. Unfortunately this means my makeup and clothes are getting neglected everyday bar the weekend! It's depressing really for a beauty/shopaholic junkie like me! But Saturday mornings getting ready have become a little slice of heaven. I love nothing more than pattering about trying new beauty creams and new products, taking my time and listening to some music.
