Favourite Topshop Nailpolish At The Moment | Aurora

  Aurora £5

I apologise if you hate feet, I don't purposely want to put my feet out there, but my finger nails are chipped and I'd rather unchipped polish if it's the main focus!

This is actually my one and only Topshop nail polish I have purchased so far because it was the only one that stood out to me. This is the only way I can justify buying nail polish, I have so many and it really has to look like nothing I own. The only way I can describe Aurora polish is that it looks like oil on wet ground, an amazing duochrome effect, nearly like a rainbow if you look closely! I was almost sure it wouldn't translate on the nails but it actually does which is why I love it!

Definitely worth checking out for £5 too! As far as I know the only Topshop in northern Ireland that stocks them is the Belfast one at Victoria Square, where I purchased this!

I just got mugged | Special effects Makeup

Once again just playing around with some simple special effects techniques, especially because the more you practise and take photographs, the more you can pin point what looks realistic!

I am happy with the bust lip but as I look closely at the pictures I can see the latex around the cheekbone isn't as blended as I would like, but that's exactly my point on the importance of photographing yourself. What looks perfect in real life, may be picked up different in the light of a camera. If it doesn't work on camera then your skills are useless!

Products used:
Liquid latex
Tissue
Mehron Bruise wheel
Fake blood (very little, as I went for more scabbed look, as if this was a couple of hours later)
Black gel liner

Face Tanning | St.Tropez Naturals

Quite recently St.Tropez launched a new line of tanning products called 'Naturals' aiming to be vegan and full of good ingredients for your skin. The face one especially promised not to block pores and bring out spots. This is exactly why I bought it, usually if I want tanned skin on my face (I am ghostly pale, even a few shades lighter than my body) I sacrifice my skin and almost can guarantee a breakout!

Compared to the previous St.Tropez this as you can see is a much thicker lotion and does have a much more natural scent although it is still very strong (a bad point to people who sensitive to headaches etc due to strong scents). It's recommended to be used 2-3 times a week, which is what I did and so far I am very pleased with it! I got natural glowing skin and it didn't seem to make my skin go crazy. I can't vouch for everyone because everyone has different skin so ultimately I would say if you think this is something you were looking for it's probably the best product out there to try first!

It's normally priced just under £20 but I found it in my local Savers (for anyone who lives near me) for only £9.99 which is amazing! The sales person couldn't even understand why they stocked in when I asked as it has only been released in Debenhams etc.

Just a casual Saturday and lots of florals | FOTD

Can you tell I'm a fan of granny florals, I practically blend into my room with this shirt from Marks & Spencers. I don't tend to shop there but I was with my mum and just spotted it and loved it, so I would definitely take a look they do have some younger female sections! It's a real stand out, uber girly piece and a lot of people seem to like it!

I wouldn't call this my everyday look as I don't wear much makeup to work which is a shame, maybe more of a casual, everyday weekend look where I have a little bit of time but still don't want to look too made up! I haven't used anything new product-wise so just check out a few posts below to see what I normally like to use!

Not a very organised or informing post but just a little personal chatty one and it's mostly about the photographs, hope you enjoyed, stay tuned I have a few reviews coming up, empty products and my mac lipstick collection! Thanks for reading xoxo

Casual & Quick | Party OOTD

A few snaps from going out a couple of weeks ago, didn't dress up too much and was having one of those 'I have nothing to wear, yet have a full wardrobe' nights.

So this is what I settled on:

Crop top- Primark (around £10 I think)
Leather look high waist shorts- River Island (£30)
Plain Black tights, can get anywhere!
I know you can't see but I also wore wedge trainers with this to carry on the casual style!
Studded hoop earrings- Primark (Probably £2.50)

Origins Haul & Mini Review | Skincare Routine

Origins has always been a brand I'd heard a lot about and maybe admired from a far, mostly because it's quite expensive. But I finally took the plunge and treated myself to some new skincare. I ordered off the origins website instead of Debenhams because if you spent over £50 you got a choice of deluxe samples, which are the products below!

My free deluxe samples:

Ginzing Eye Cream (Probably my least favourite product only because I'm not very good with eye creams, I don't particularly need them in my routine yet because of my age and I just forget to use it most nights (an extra 'faff'), nothing wrong with the product itself but I do think it's very overhyped and overpriced)

Modern Friction Exfoliator (I like this product but it also isn't ground-breaking for me, one thing I would mention is do not get this in your eyes, hell on earth!)

Cheeks and Face Frothy Face Wash (This would be amazing if you have really oily skin, as I have not found a product like it, leaves my skin squeaky clean)

Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask (Gorgeous as a treat to your skin, I love the handiness of just popping it on before bed and sleeping in it, fuss free!)

My full size purchases:

Origins Never a Dull Moment Skin Brightening Face Cleanser
First thing I noticed about this cleanser was that it smells gorgeous, because Origins is a natural brand I didn't have high hopes for the scents of the products but this one is right on the description, sweet and fruity. I'm really enjoying using it to take my makeup off and cleanse although I haven't broke out, I also haven't noticed my skin any brighter yet.

High-Potency Night-a-Mins Mineral Enriched Oil-free Renewal Cream
Another thing I noticed with this product right off the bat was it's scent, smells to me of Jaffa cakes, a lovely sweet orange. To me this is a big positive and I love it! Yes this cream is super expensive (over £30 I think) but a little goes a long way and I think it will last me over 6 months at least. I find it luxurious and moisturising and I haven't had any break outs or problems so far!

Let me know if you have tried any origins products and what are your favourites! I love hearing peoples opinions on products, it helps a lot!
