New Products That Have Made It As Staples | What I'm Loving

Finally tried the brand Limecrime after alot of lusting. I am a big fan of the Youtuber Lauren Curtis and this is one she mentioned a few times which initially popped it onto my radar. I totally agree with her, I love it. This has knocked Mac's Creme Cup out of the window. I really haven't reached for it since. It smells amazing, is super pigmented and really moisturizing on the lips. If you love nude lips, you need this. As this is an American brand I got it from https://www.love-makeup.co.uk/lime-crime-m-13.html

Another Youtuber reccommendation. This one is LisaLisaD1's favourite Bridget Bardot Nude, really how can you not want to look like Bridget - sold. Lisa is gorgeous and totally fabulous for her age, and she has really got me back into brown-y nudes, a touch to 90's but not as dark. For a matte it is really smooth and not drying.

I really don't know how I have lived without this so long. An eyeshadow primer is essential in my makeup routine. Soft ochre is a pale skin tone beige but for me it's also like a concealer mixed in too. It covers all my redness and veins on my lid. I've also even been using it to brighten my dark circles and it lasts amazing because its a primer. I am not sure if it's marketed for this but it stays all day, doesn't crease and looks fab, so why not!

I think this Illamasqua Vernau has a cult following and is pretty popular. I heard Alex Box quote that it is gorgeous for contouring. She is pretty much my idol so it doesn't take much for her to sell me products. The lovely manager at Belfast Counter also said this was lovely for blonde eyebrows, I don't agree for myself as my brows are veryyyy cool toned grey/brown so it doesn't match but I can imagine if you are warm toned this would work! An awesome one for multiple uses. Great for blue eyes also.

Swatches of products mentioned.
Limecrime Coquette, Mac Honey Love, Mac Soft Ochre, Illamasqua Vernau.

Sunday Shopping | I found Wet and Wild!

Nearly every Sunday I have a Mama-Daughter shopping trip in my Gran and Granda's town, just before visiting them. Usually I spend all this time in Primark but I just wasn't feeling it today so I ventured out into some other shops. Just having a wonder I popped into one of the local pharmacies in the shopping centre and low and behold (this may make me sound sad) the most exciting part of my day, I found the American brand Wet & Wild! Honestly I am bewildered as to why they stock this as I have never heard of anywhere else or even seen it in person!
(To any Americans you may think I'm weird!)
I just picked up what I thought would be the most exciting, just incase it was terrible. I'll probably be back in for more next time, I really want to try the lip products.

£5.29
I bought this eyeshadow palette in Poster child, probably the brightest one from the brand. I think it's cool the way they have guidance printed in the shadows, but jesus nobody put the yellow on their browbone!! Fail. But I'm excited to try this out, overall it's good pigmentation.

Vices (red) Distortion (blue) Bleached (white) £1.59 each!

The other items I bought from the brand were these three cream glitter pots. Originally I thought these were eyeshadows but actually it says they are for the face and body which is cool, especially for Halloween.

Can't wait to have a play with these!

I also bought this glow stick from Topshop makeup in Play Up. It's really pigmented and I'm loving cream highlights! £10

And the next two products, my bestie Rachel picked up for me, I almost bought this Illamasqua white liquid liner in the shade Scribe but then she found it in the sale in London for £5 yay!

She also picked me up another Mac Spice lipliner on her way home in Duty Free. I lost mine and I literally wear this every other day, it is amazing!! I think this is around £10.

Thanks for reading everyone, I hope you liked this post! xoxo

10 Little Secrets Tag | Part 2

The last time I did this tag was in 2012, times have changed from then so I thought it would be fun to do it again!
1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?
Ugh this is so hard. Close tie between freshly waxed filled in brows and a bright lipstick. I'll go with brows, I do mine myself (Don't worry I did Beauty Therapy) which is a blessing and a burden cause I'm so lazy to actually do them but I know what I like! I love Mac pencils in fling and lingering or MUA matte brown shadows to fill them in.

2. What is your skincare secret? / A passed down skin care tip
No passed down skincare tips as I'm the one passing them all out! ALWAYS TAKE OFF YOUR MAKEUP, EVERY SCRAP! Bare minerals night treatment in light, skincare and coverage, makes you feel confident when you are finding it tough!

3. Share your hair care secret?
To be honest I'm a bit shit, still on the hunt, I've the driest hair ever (even before it was dyed it was the same!) I try all the oils etc but nothing will fix it. Any recommendations?

4. What is your biggest diet rule?
Again, I'm shit. Probably drink at least 2 pints of water a day, I can tell the difference in how I feel if I don't! Generally more sluggish and tired.

5. Any workout tips?
ppfffft. I try to run and walk my dog. But I need the tips myself.

6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?
LAURA MERCIER AMBRE VANILLE.. see previous post!

7. What is a clothing item of yours which always turns heads?
Probably my trainer collection,
these Nikes, always draw comments! Not everyones cup of tea either. Not that I care anymore haha.

8. What is your most treasured piece of jewellery?
Got some pretty rings for my 21st :)

9. Who is your style crush?
UGH easssy. Obsessed with Becca Dudley. She like rocks the coolest, oddest, boyish, style ever. Trainer obsession also.
I also love, kylie Jenners style, Iggy Azalea, Cara Delevingne. (Basically follow my pinterest fashion inspo.)

10. Tell us something we don't know about you
In 2012 I answered this question, showing my first tattoo. I now have that extended and altogether have 5 tattoos. I also said I didn't think I would get anymore, how weird. (I still want more!)
I think back to then and I have changed soo much. I am literally a different person.

Hope you enjoyed this post, little more light and it was really fun to do! xox

The Lip Product Tag

I just read this on one of my favourite blogs - http://www.buynowbloglater.com/
I love Laura, right from her old skool youtube days, check her out! p.s this might be boring to some of you, especially if you don't like lip products! I enjoy Tag's because it's a nice easy post and they are fun and chatty... enjoy :)

Favourite balm or treatment?
To be honest I think the majority of these products do the same thing, unless it's a proper heavy duty product for chapped lips and something medicinal. But the one I use everyday is a yellow EOS balm (the egg ones!) in lemon flavour, I love them cause it tastes yummy and it's really easy to use!

Best eye catching Red Lipstick
Red is probably my least favourite colour on myself, I only recently discovered this when I wore it for literally the first time in ages the other day. I feel I am much more of a pink/purple girl. But obviously I own tonnes, my mind changes daily. My most used one that springs to my mind is Mac-Lady Danger (If all these are Mac don't get mad!). A cheaper option is probably ELF matte lip colour in Rich Red, more of a blue toned red!

Favourite Pink Lipstick
This is a tough one. (I had to leave this and come back at the end lol) Does liquid lipstick count? I love Topshop's lip varnish in Field day, I've mentioned it loads! Pink Noveau is my first Mac lipstick I've bought, it will always be in my heart haha.

Favourite Nude Lipstick
MAC's CREME CUP. AMEN. Best lipstick ever. My go to one, always looks good. Especially in my little lip trio of go to products which unveil as we go.

Best Luxury Lipstick
Chanel Rouge Allure 91 Seduisante. The packaging is beautiful as is everything about the lipstick. Formula is lovely, colour is just a little more pink than an nude. Easy to wear, exactly what you want when you pay that much!

Best MAC lipstick
Mac lipsticks are clearly my favourite. They are my go to brand, I rarely look anywhere else! It's easier to make a list : Creme cup, angel, cyber, Rebel, Pink Noveau, On Hold, Bombshell, Ravishing, Russian Red, Impassioned (Them all really lol).

Favourite gloss
At the start I didn't get on well with this but it's Mac's Lipglass in Florabundance. It's a really nude colour, but in my trio with creme cup and the lip liner (question coming up!) It is amazingggggg! My second fav is Chanel's 104 if I'm after something sparkly, because this is the MOTHER of all sparkle. Beaut.

Favourite Spring/Summer shade
Topshop's Lip Varnish in Fun & Games! AMAZING peachy orange. I love it. I also love the bright purple in High Times.

Favourite Autumn/Winter shade
100% Mac's Rebel and Mac's Cyber. Super bold, dark and amazing!

Lip liner: yes or no?
YESSS!! Mac's Spice Lipliner is my holy grail and completes my trio of my favourite lip. Spice, Creme Cup and Florabundance create the most perfect, pouty, nude lip! And I need all 3 together for the perfect look. I could not live without this liner. It's the perfect colour for drawing your lips fuller (which I do) and still looks as natural as possible! I might do a post on this showing how I do the lip, because I love it so much.

Sorry this was so Mac heavy, but hey you can't deny what's tried and tested. Their lip products are the best thing from the brand!

Thanks for reading xoxo
