Halloween Makeup | Smokey Eyes and Red Lips!

I absolutely love Halloween, because quite frankly I can go all out and wear as much makeup as I want. Normally I stick to the rule of either a bold eye or lip but not together. We also didn't go for scary or particularly Halloween-y but sure!

I did both our makeups and used basically the same products.

Face:
Illamasqua Rich liquid foundation (best foundation for a night out doesn't budge and has amazing coverage, but wouldn't use it everyday)
Mac Cream bronzer (from previous post)
Mac mineralize skinfinish natural (light-med)

Eyes:
Mac barestudy paintpot
Mac shadows from previous post (mostly black obviously)
Collection 2000 gel liner all over lid as base!
False lashes (no name brand sorry, just cheap ones) My friends where from eyelure!

Brows:
Elf brow kit in ash blonde

Lips:
Collection 2000 lip stain (like a felt tip applicator) in red!

Why I can't browse the Mac website...

Really shouldn't be buying makeup at the moment (saving to hopefully move to London next year!) but I was planning on buying a really nice winter coat and got one in the asos sale so this is how I justified this purchase..maybe.. kind of .. woops.

Mac Limited Edition Desert Camouflage full face kit (Pictures are not edited at all, so colours are true to life)
Even after all of that, I'm super happy I got this palette. I know I will get use out of it, love every single colour for both everyday and then carbon to add smokiness for nights out or even for eyeliner! It's also so compact, great for travelling and all round handiness.

The cream bronzer is matte (perfect contour) in sandstorm which was the lighter of the two shades.

4 eyeshadows- Sahara Desert (similar to Shroom from the permanent line)
Cactus Thorn (a little like Woodwinked)
Deserts (a little like Satin Taupe)
and Carbon which is from the permanent line.

Recent Fashion Purchases | Getting ready for Autumn

This all wasn't purchased at the same time, it's a mix of online shopping and a few Saturday shopping days with my momma! (Our favourite thing to do!) This little post is to show you all what I've been liking..

I love the army trend at the moment and was randomly searching through amazon and found this bargain for around £10 so I couldn't resist. I love layering it with the hoodie I bought below!

American Apparel style dupe hoodie, these are everywhere at the moment, definitely would feel annoyed if I did pay the £40 for the AA ones. This one is from a local shop, but primark also do them for under £10!

Primark Acid wash skinny jeans - £13 Topshop NY tee- £18 (I'm obsessed with New York!!)

Topshop khaki tee- £16 Primark grey leggings with leather panels- £7

Another American apparel dupe for the disco pants from River Island- £30 (Been living in these!)
Black Maxi skirt around £5 from amazon again!

Legging style trousers from H&M such a bargain at £7.99 (I seem to be buying too much of this colour haha)

Leopard boots from Primark- £8 and Chain from H&M- £5.99 (bit overpriced but I can't find any nice chains anywhere!)

Let me know what your autumn buys are! Thanks for reading xoxo

Essie Obsession.. LOVE!

17 Muchi Muchi, 208A A crewed interest, Fill the Gap (base coat), 207A Navigate her, 773 Brooch the Subject

17 Muchi Muchi, 208A A crewed interest

773 Brooch the Subject (4 days wear!)

207A Navigate her (I'm so sorry if you hate feet!)
Firstly I got all these polishes from Fragrance direct.co.uk for a complete bargin, £1.99 each! Normally essie polishes are around the £9 so I couldn't resist. I'm not sure if it's the combination of the base coat and the essie polish or it's the base coat alone (I'm yet to try it with any other polish brands to see) but the quality and the lasting power is amazing. Naturally my nails are weak and they peel so normally polish doesn't last a day without some sort of chipping at the end but with these I can get up to a week with perfect nails! They also dry really fast which is another bonus. I'm seriously amazed at this brand, definately check out the website!

Let me know if you've tried essie and experienced the same results! Thanks for reading xoxo

Nivea Effective Cleansing Gel | Can't Get enough of it!

A couple of months in and I've around 1/4 left. I bought this on a whim on a random shop in Superdrug, it was on sale for £1.99 and literally just sucked me in. I honestly expected it to break me out or not to like it and for it to take comfort unfortunately at the back of my cupboard like a lot of unwanted products.

But low and behold, I love this product, firstly I have to say it is only going to be suited to people who have combination to oily skin because it is an oil free gel cleanser which means it doesn't have any moisturising qualities. I only use this at night because I have a separate day time routine (not that you couldn't use it) and it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean, the perfect feeling for going to bed. It hasn't broke me out and I can use it around my eyes to take my eye makeup off (it doesn't sting me).

Flake Away & Sparkling Lemon Verbena | My Body Loves!

My body loves these. I also love these a lot.

Sparkling Lemon Verbena Body Cream (£3 from Marks & Spencer)
Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish (£8 from Boots)

I know this product has been doing it's rounds on the blogsphere at the moment but there is really a reason for it. I use it about one to two times a week depending on how much fake tan I'm using or how much pampering I'm in the mood for. The scrub is oil based so it's really moisturising and I haven't had any problems putting tan on a couple of hours after using it. I've also noticed a really lovely improvement to my tan after this, much more natural looking and no streaks! Also I think it's really good value for money, a little goes a long way.

I was so shocked at the price of this body cream, I am seriously going back to buy more, there's a coconut one that I had my eye on too. But if you love lemon cheesecake you will love this. It's gorgeous and silky, absorbs in really quickly which is perfect for everyday. But really the smell is just amazing, I really do think it rivals a lot of high end creams. But this is definitely not like the body shops' butters which is what I initially thought but more like a souffle cream texture, equally as nice.

Thanks for reading, please let me know of any products you love or if you've tried these and your thoughts :)

If any of you are wondering, I'm wearing Sleek's Vixen on my lips, it's my go to red for a night out it's matte so doesn't smudge and lasts ages! Plus it's blue toned so whiter teeth which is always a bonus!

And one unattractive pose for luck haha....

A lot of glosses and one conditioner!

I never used to be one for lipglosses but I've really taken to them recently. Suddenly I've accumulated a lot, (out of nowhere, there seems to be about 5 in every handbag haha) and these are some of my favourites!

Mac lip conditioner fuchsia fix Spf  15
This is a bit of an odd one out but I thought I'd stick it in this post anyways because it a lip product and it is glossy but its definitely a conditioning product. I absolutely love this, smells amazing like cupcakes and gives off a nice pink tint.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses- shine city, coral reef, lilac pastel
I absolutely love these glosses, they are not sticky at all, more of a smooth texture which I love! I can't stand sticky glosses! They also nicely pigmented!

 Illamasqua Sheer Gloss
This is the perfect gloss to go over a red lip!

 YSL gloss
Perfect applicator, i love the brush. It's gorgeous with the glitter and it's not chunky on your lips.

Benefit Life on the A list
My perfect most comfortable Nude lipgloss

Elf mineral Lip gloss in Pageant Princess
Lovely everyday gloss and quite a cheapy! I love ELF!

Swatches:

Mac fuchsia fix
Elf mineral gloss (below)
3 Revlon glosses (below)
Illamasqua sheer gloss (beside mac tinted conditioner)

Products I've hit pan on!

If you're not familiar with the term "hitting pan" it basically just means that you've used enough
of the product to show the bottom of the pan (packaging).
It shows products that I really do love and use on a regular basis!

Wet n Wild Beauty Unblemished oil-free foundation, as you can see I've hit more than the bottom of this, it's finished! Loved it so much, perfect natural finish and a medium but buildable coverage. Probably not going to find this again though because I ordered it online from fragrancedirect and they never really stock the same products but if you see it, get it!

MUA shade 3 bronzer, perfect for contouring because its matte! Love it and only a £1!

NYX mosaic powder blush in 03 plummy, also a matte shade but i love the colour, not too mad but pretty on the skin.

Bobbypin eye palette, basically been using the top 3 neutral colours for a whole month, it's just so handy for early mornings before work.

Elf brow kit (I think this is ash the label has rubbed off) my everyday brow colour used it ever since I got it (months ago!) now I can't live without it, will definitely buy again once I'm finished!

Do you you guys love any of these products?

Thanks for reading! xoxo

Stila in Poundland? I picked up as much as I could without buying multiples of the same products! Can't actually believe all these products were only a pound each? When they are normally priced £20 up! There still in my shops so I would definitely go look to see if you can pick up some of these bargains!

Necklace is from Topshop Sale and both earrings are from the New Look sale!

Topshop £20

Topshop Petite £20

Grey Vans (Got online from asos!)

Hope you all are enjoying your summer, actually got a hint of sunshine today after months of rain!! So all is good haha! Thanks for reading xoxo
